Porsche Taycan is an electric car developed by Porsche. It was first revealed as a concept car named as Mission E in 2015 at a motor show event. Taycan is the first electric car developed by Porsche. It is a sleek-looking sports car which fully lives up to the reputation of Porsche. As you can probably guess from the look of it, Porsche Taycan provides us with incredible acceleration. When compared in terms of range, it lags a little bit behind Tesla. But on the brighter side, because of the use of an 800-volt electrical system, it allows the user to charge the vehicle rather quickly.

Porsche Taycan has three different ranges for its three models. It offers 333-407 km of range for 4S, 381-450 km of range for Turbo and 388-412 km for Turbo S. So from the perspective of range, it can’t compete with Model S from Tesla which offers us a range between 326 and 370 miles.

Charging and Acceleration
Charging
Porsche Taycan features the first-ever design of 800 volt which produces a power of 270 kW. So this makes the charging this beast much faster. Taycan can provide us with a range of 100 km with the charging of just 5 minutes. Otherwise, the charging time varies according to the type of charging method you are using.
Acceleration
All the models of Taycan have different acceleration time. The acceleration time from going 0 to 100 km/h is provided below :
Taycan 4S: 4 sec
Taycan Turbo: 3.2 sec
Taycan Turbo S:2.8 sec
Interior
This Porsche features up to 4 displays. Even though it is a sleek looking car, it is quite spacious. Taycan doesn’t support Android Auto but it does support Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity. The standard model comes with 3 displays but you can choose an additional fourth screen for the passenger if you want. A person of 6 feet can easily fit on both the front and on one rare seat. The standard configuration for this Porsche is 4 seats but you can also opt for a configuration of 2+1 as suggested by Porsche.
